Working in my studio
In early 2020, I left the sun‑drenched landscapes of California for Alaska—a place I had never seen before but instantly felt connected to. The vast, majestic scenery of the Last Frontier captivated me from the moment I arrived, rekindling the childhood dream I once had of becoming an artist.
Nature is at the heart of my creative life. I often explore the wilderness near my home with my family, finding endless inspiration in the mountains, forests, and shifting seasons. I work with a range of mediums—acrylic, pyrography, watercolor, and pastel—because each one offers a different way to experience and express the landscape. Experimenting across mediums brings joy to my art journey and keeps my creative process open, curious, and ever‑evolving.
With years of dedicated practice, I have received many honors and grant support from Alaska arts organizations. I remain grateful to this land for awakening my artistic voice—and I am committed to deepening it with each new piece she creates.
In November 2024, I had a solo exhibition titled "Alaska Wilderness Whispers" at the Juneau-Douglas City Museum. This exhibition featured my recent works, including acrylic paintings and pyrography. It showcases Alaska's breathtaking landscapes and reflects the harmonious relationship between people and nature and the presence of wild animals.
